General Description

This product isaQSFP+Opticaltransceiver for 4x10Gb/soptical links.Itoperatesat10.3125Gb/s upto100moverOM3multimodeopticalfiberand150moverOM4fiber.Theopticaltransmitterportionofthetransceiverincorporatesa4channelsVCSELarray,a4channels inputbufferandlaser driver,diagnosticmonitors,controlandbiasblocks.Formodulecontrol,thecontrolinterfaceincorporatesaTwoWireSerialinterfaceofclockanddatasignals.Diagnostic monitorsfor VCSELbias, moduletemperature,TXpower,RXpowerandsupplyvoltageareimplementedandresultsareavailablethroughtheTwoWireSerialinterface.Alarmandwarningthresholdsareestablishedforthemonitoredattributes.Flagsaresetandinterruptsgeneratedwhentheattributesareoutsidethethresholds.Allflagsarelatchedandwillremainseteveniftheconditioninitiatingthelatchclearsandoperationresumes.Theopticaloutputwillsquelchfor lossof inputsignal unlesssquelch isdisabled.

Theopticalreceiverportionofthetransceiverincorporatesa4channelsPINphotodiodearray,a4channelsTIAarray,a4channeloutputbuffer,diagnosticmonitors.Alarmandwarningthresholdsareestablishedforthemonitoredattributes.Flagsaresetandinterruptsgeneratedwhentheattributesareoutsidethethresholds.Allflagsarelatchedandwillremainseteveniftheconditioninitiatingtheflagclearsandoperationresumes.Allinterruptscanbemaskedandflagsareresetuponreadingtheappropriateflagregister.Theelectricaloutputwillsquelchforlossofinputsignal(unlesssquelchisdisabled)andchannelde-activation throughTwoWireSerial interface.
